Vintage Pepsi Machine Sign

Print Design

May 2024

In the Cruisin' With Lincoln on 66 Visitor’s Center, located on the ground floor of the McLean County Museum of History, a vintage Pepsi machine serves as a nostalgic centerpiece. I was tasked with redesigning its accompanying poster to align more closely with the visitor center’s aesthetic and to update the pricing information.

The design process began with research into Route 66 and vintage soda advertisements to ensure the final poster would evoke the era's retro charm. Using a combination of bold typography, era-appropriate colors, and graphic elements reminiscent of mid-century advertising, I developed a concept that captured the spirit of nostalgia while delivering modern functionality.
